Individual Consultants/Portfolio Manager (15) - RWSSFDB [July 17, 2016]

RURAL WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION FUND DEVELOPMENT BOARD (the Fund Board) is implementing a community- based Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project (RWSSIP) funded by IDA(The world Bank) and GoN with community contributions both in cash and kind. The focus of the Program is to facilities rural communities for sustainable Water Supply Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) services delivery through demand-driven approach and participatory decision making process by empowering them to implement their water supply and sanitation schemes with the assistance of the fund board and intends to apply of this funds to payments under the contracts to avail professional services of Portfolio Manager (PM) on temporary basis to accelerate implementation of the targeted program by inviting applications from the qualified and competent individuals.

The Board invites qualified individuals to apply for the following position:

1. Portfolio Manager (PM) - 15 Nos.

Minimum Requirements:

• S/he must have an educational qualification Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Social Science or Management from a recognized university
• Must have at least five years work experience relevant to the assignment especially of water supply and sanitation programs or rural development including at least 2 years work experience in projects with demand and participatory approaches.

Terms of Employment: Two(2) Years with possibility of extension every 6 months subject to business need and upon satisfactory performance of the staff.

Duty Station: Kathmandu based with extensive traveling to districts outside Kathmandu
